Career and Resource Fair General Information
The 2023 Butler County Career and Resource Fair is jointly offered by Butler County Health Care Consortium and Butler Collaborative for Families and proudly sponsored by Butler County Community College and Butler County Chamber of Commerce.

WHEN: May 8th 9:00am-3:00pm

WHAT TO EXPECT: The goal is to provide a space for job seekers, internship hopefuls, and those interested in volunteer work to learn about the many opportunities in Butler County offered by employers from a variety of sectors (health care, manufacturing, community/human services, etc.). Additionally, community service agencies will have information about supportive services that can help individuals meet a variety of needs as they work towards employment. An opportunity for on-site interviews will be available and students and job seekers alike are encouraged to come dressed for success with a resume to share with prospective employers. There is NO FEE for community members to attend, but non-perishable food item donations are welcome to support the Pioneer Pantry at BC3 for food insecure students.

PASSPORT: Attendees will have an opportunity to be entered into a drawing for one of several gift cards by completing a passport! Passports are completed by visiting each of the agencies/businesses listed on the sheet and getting their signature or initials. Once completed, they can be turned in to the registration table to be entered into the drawing and winners will be announced at the end of the event.

WHAT TO EXPECT: The goal is to provide a space for job seekers, internship hopefuls, and those interested in volunteer work to learn about the many opportunities in Butler County offered by employers from a variety of sectors (health care, manufacturing, community/human services, etc.). Additionally, community service agencies are encouraged to bring information about supportive services that can aide individuals in meeting a variety of needs. A space to conduct on-site interviews will be made available.
​
The Butler Vo-Tech will be issuing a pass for students from 15 different technical schools to attend the event which will count as their school day. Additionally, students from BC3 and SRU as well as general community members seeking employment or volunteer opportunities are encouraged to attend.
​
PASSPORT: If you want to make sure people stop at your table, consider adding the passport to your registration! For an additional $10, your business/agency will be listed as a MUST VISIT destination where attendees will be required to get a signature or initials. Attendees will be able to submit a completed passport at the end of the event for a chance to win one of several gift cards!
​
Finally, we ask that vendors please consider bringing a non-perishable food item donation to support the Pioneer Pantry at BC3 for food insecure students.
