Jessica Johnston brings a creative and dynamic approach to her position as the Marketing Coordinator for the Butler Collaborative for Families (BCF). As a small business owner, she has a strong desire to connect, support, and promote organizations in Butler County, Pennsylvania. With a background in digital marketing and website design, she plays a role in BCF's outreach by constantly working on ways to help promote their mission.

Growing up in Butler County has allowed Jessica to connect with, and be involved in her community. She earned her Associate's Degree as a Website Development Specialist from Butler County Community College (BC3) in 2020 before furthering her education at Grove City College. She graduated in 2022 with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and a concentration in design. Throughout her experience at both BC3 and Grove City College, Jessica developed a passion for working with people, designing websites that are designed around individual need, and helping businesses establish a thriving online presence.

In early 2021, during her time at Grove City College, Jessica started her own website design and digital marketing business, Salt and Light Web Design. Dedicated to providing her clients with services tailored to their individual needs, she has worked to offer a vast range of expertise in website design, digital marketing, SEO, social media management, blogging, and business branding. Prior to starting her business, she worked in the digital marketing industry where she developed a skillset in SEO, content creation, and marketing strategies. Additionally, she worked as the website and graphics director for Grace Community Church for two years, providing her with experience in various website builder platforms, graphic design, and branding.

With her role as BCF's Marketing Coordinator, she applies her experiences into managing BCF's marketing campaigns, exploring new ways to enhance the website and social media platform, and highlighting the initiatives at BCF through events, partnerships, and connection through the community of Butler County.

When she is not working, Jessica can be found spending time with her friends and family, dancing, reading a good book, or writing her upcoming debut inspirational romantic suspense novel.
